It's Time to Change the Genre Character - Discussion

 SPOILER ALERT TILL CHAPTER 78

Summary

I woke up inside my favourite novel, not as the protagonist, Luca Winterwald, but as Judith, his abusive aunt and the first character to die—time for a rewrite! I’ll hand Luca off to his loving, long-lost uncle as scripted and then live my own life far from danger. At least, that was the plan. When his uncle arrives, Luca suddenly calls out, “Don’t leave!” Now, I must protect Luca from impending family tragedy, raise him to become the hero, and turn this villainess’s ending upside down!

Judith Maibaum 

I really love Judith’s character because unlike other MCs, she didn’t run even though she could. She wanted to protect Luca with everything. I also really loved her expressions. They are so funny.  (　＾▽＾)

But she is overly considerate. When she was concerned about the maids reaction to her and when she was overly considerate over what the former Emperor thought of her, so I was glad when Victoria told her off that she doesn’t have to feel bad.

 Aside from that, it’s really fun trying to see Judith trying her best to be a role model for Luca. Judith gets really flustered whenever Luca sees her and Rudiger ‘flirting’ lol, and when she accidentally kills that assassin in the train with pepper  ( ￣▽￣). I also laughed when Rudiger asked what she liked about him, and she answered his face lol, her grandmother’s looks wasn’t the only thing that was hereditary.

Judith’s relationship with Rudiger is really lovely, I absolutely love the back and forth between them. Well, Judith loved his Rudiger's voice, his face than anything, lol. But when she blushes because of his straightforward behavior, it is adorable. ( ´∀｀ )b

I love the familial love between Judith and Luca because even though she transmigrated, she  thinks of him as family. Judith scolds him, worries way too much about him (to Luca's annoyance), and takes Luca out to play ETC. they are so cute. ♪(^∇^*)

Luca Winterwald

He is, I am 100 % sure that he is a regressor, I mean there is so many hints; like he is way too mature for his age, his ability to read even though he wasn’t taught, his adaptability, to lie during important moments ETC.

Beyond that, Luca is so cute (* >ω<), and his interactions Rudiger are so hilarious. That gambling chapter was so  funny, Luca kept winning, and Rudiger kept losing, Luca could have become the head of the family in this journey because Rudiger gambled it all away, lol Rudiger again betted against Luca to escort Judith to the banquet, but Luca won again (　＾▽＾)

His relationship with Judith is also really cute, and it's so amusing just how hard Luca tries to stop them from flirting. But he obviously cares about Judith, like when he was worried about her when Judith was grazed during the train assassination, when he escorted Judith ETC. 

Even though Luca is quite mature, he still have his his childish moments, when Luca asked whether or not Judith wants him to inherit the family and Judith's reply "If you don't want to inherit the duchy, then... we can just hold hands and leave together!" It was nice to see Luca relax after that. (* ´ ▽ ` *)

Rudiger Winterwald

He is so hot (///∇///). Anyways... Rudiger is a very fun character to read. I love how he does not give a single f*ck about something that doesn't concern him, also how his classmates know what kind of character he is. He also doesn't hesitate to answer anything question Judith ask from him. Rudiger is a 'you didn't ask, so I didn't answer' type of guy, so it's really funny. (　＾▽＾)

Because of the duchess blatant favoritism, he got really lonely and no one paid any attention to him to the point that he was surprised that Judith was curious about him.( *´・ω)/(；д； )

It was basically love at first sight for Rudiger when he saw Judith. I really enjoyed how his passionate love didn't reach Judith because of her own assumption, lol. I really adored the latest chapters, with how desperate he was to the answer of his confession and  his relieved face when Judith said yes was so adorable! How he was mad at that 'old fox' and how he asked Princess Victoria for help to see Judith. Ahhhh, if my man isn't him, I don't want him! (*￣ー￣)

His blushing face and his dishevelled hair in the latest chapter was AHHHHHH.

Victoria Rumgart 

Our sassy queen (っ･ω･)っ. I really love her energy. Her ambition to the throne is really cool. Not only that, she really helps both of our main characters. She made Judith stand up for herself and fight against that damn grandpa of hers, and made a deal with Rudiger to stopping the Emperor from shipping Rudiger with Princess Josephine 

Former Emperor 

My first impression of him was nice, but then after the banquet, he got really annoying (-_-#). He essentially trapped Judith in the mansion and would not let her meet Rudiger.  Like seriously? You are projecting your  sister in Judith and Princess Vanessa! Thank God Princess Margaret ran away from him!!

Franz Birkenleis 

He is honestly so creepy, in my opinion.  His obsession with being the Duke of the Winterwald Family is frankly scary, I mean, he really wanted to kill a 10 year old child (　｀ー´). He forced Miss Judith to look at him just so he could have a chance to murder Luca was so creepy ((ヾ(≧皿≦ﾒ)ﾉ))

Kill the Villainess Discussion - Till Chapter 88

SPOILER ALERT TILL CHAPTER 88

Summary 

The villainess in the novel and only daughter of a marquis, Eris Mizelian, became jealous of the kind and lovely protagonist, Helena, and was executed for hatching a conspiracy. 'I' who reincarnated as her, have only one goal: to escape from this world and get back home. I was even prepared to die to achieve this, but the laws of the world that bound "me" here were persistent. The three male leads, the crown prince, the high priest, and even the warrior, who used to loathe Eris, begin to look her way as they notice her change from how she was before... "Even so, I absolutely cannot love this world." Even if the only way to escape is by death. Even if I were to take the hand of a sorceress in order to achieve it, I'll definitely escape this world! The other world escape of Eris, who rejects her fate!

My Impressions

For the 1st Chapter

When I read the 1st chapter, I really liked the fact that the Eris wanted to escape. Since as a manhwa maniac I have read hundreds of manhwas so I was surprised she wanted to escape. And the other things didn't really had much of a reaction to me it was meh. ( ´ー`)

 

My Impression on the Art

The art is quite good and fortunately the art doesn't go down as the story progress.

 

 Characters

 Eris Mizelian

My first impression of her was not good tbh. I, for some reason was annoyed but it slowly changed when I progressed more through the story. She was really trying her best to escape and I was cheering her on so she could leave this god forsaken place with these disgusting men. I also really loved when she roasted Jason, Alex and that disgusting priest. 

Her relationship with Anakin was really sweet, I loved it when they went to the festival together and the flustered Anakin was so cute. (///∇///) (Ch:35)

Her relationship with Helena was really nice to see because most of the time the OG FL are not... nice. But when Eris taught her and when she gave her the napkin when Helena cried, I was like awww. (〃￣ー￣〃) But when Eris was about to stabbed Helena and Helena's dialogue that she will forgive her I legit cried at that scene. (；∀； )

Anakin

The only sane and loving man in the entire series lol. No but seriously, he was the only one. At first I was meh about him but slowly he started to grow on me like Eris Mizelian. And I really love the snowfall scene in Chapter 76 when they both talked and of course, the festival scene. (〃´ω`〃)

 

 

 

 

 

Helena

The rare OG FL who is not a lotus b*tch. I hated her at first because I thought she was a lotus if not then she will be an extremely naive and kind girl. She was naive but had a story on why she was like this. She didn't love the crown prince but didn't have the power to reject him, I honestly really feel bad for her and am hoping that she gets a happy ending.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Alexo (Crown Prince)

He is soooo f**king disgusting, I hope he dies a most painful death ever. Tbh at first I was just really really annoyed at him but when he slapped Eris in her face I was like wow bruh really you slapped a noble woman in her face and didn't even apologize and saying that she deserved it. I was enraged!! (*｀Д´)ノ！！！And don't even ask me about the r*pe scene. (￢_￢)

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Hubris

Another disgusting character!! Yay! I mean he wants to be physically intimate with his half sister saying that it's alright because her soul is of another human, like really dude? (゜゜;)(。。;) This emoji right here was my exact reaction when I read that scene. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Jason

A delusional character who thinks that he is a savior. I mean their talk in the carriage was fine. But at Chapter 38, he said "You keep doing things that catch my attention." Like how is it her fault for your feelings? He keeps projecting his younger self on her. Leave her alone!!

 

 

 

 

 

 

Overall 

I loved the storytelling and the pacing of the story. The characters have depth and the characters were fun to read albeit a bit annoying at first. (Eris and Helena) I highly recommend Kill the Villainess to you all.
